Water Polo - Back On The Map 13 May 2023
Lancaster City has a rich history within Water Polo, the sport has seen somewhat of a resurgence in the last few years and we are currently looking to recruit for our Junior Water Polo team. Swim England have just run the inaugural Water Polo Talent Games and its been hailed as a success after young water polo players from across the nation got the opportunity to compete at the highest level possible for their age group.
Jack To Represent PentathlonGB 06 May 2023
Congratulations to Jack from squad 3 who has qualified to represent Pentathlongb at the European championships in Germany and World championships in Bath later this year for Laser Run. Jack is one of 16 athletes based in the North West to have qualified for these events, he trains with us and the North West Pentathlon Hub based in Clitheroe. We wish you well at both competitions Jack and hope to hear the stories of your exploits.
PSUK swimming championships 2023 25 Apr 2023
Millie from squad 3 competed at the 2023 Police Uk National Championships over the weekend. She was the fastest female in the country in both the 50m and 200m breaststroke events. She also knocked an impressive 5 seconds off her long course PB. Superb performance Millie

Please find attached the Accepted Entries for the last 2 weekends of the Regional Summer Championships 2023. Well done to all those who worked so hard and achieved the consideration times. Unfortunately, the region has had to reject a number of athletes from this years events due to the number that qualified.

Matt Wilson takes over from Rob Simpson as this years Club Captain and Zara and Jad become our new Swim Captains.
These three have been amazing members of our team for many years, Zara swimming since 2015, Jad since 2020 and Matt joining our masters squad and coaching team in 2021.
Since joining the club Matt has been very proactive on developing the club as a Committee member and has enjoyed his time in the pool achieving numerous PBs and representing the club at the Masters National events.
Both Zara and Jad have represented the club over many years at both home and external galas and they will hopefully continue to inspire our younger athletes as their predecessors have in 2023.
We wish them well and are looking forward to seeing how they progress our athletes in and out of the pool this year. - 10 Feb 2024A Masterly Performance
